Now, splashing water waves on the roof deck’s swimming pool of an urban skyscraper might not sound like a brave feat. Yet, what if you're terrified of heights? Do you still possess the courage to look down at the cityscape below you? Would you still attempt to plunge into the aquatic depths of this pool situated at a staggering 92 meters (301 feet) approximately above ground? Probably not.

Fortunately, I don't suffer from the miserable phobia of high altitudes. This fear of heights is scientifically known as Acrophobia, and it has sadly crippled some of us from fully enjoying these incredible moments. For now, let's not focus on this human limitation but instead admire this one-of-a-kind and breathtaking elevated platform.

As a loyal guest of this prestigious hotel, I always dedicate time to benefiting from the accommodation’s various amenities such as their lobby lounge, in-house restaurants and bars, gym, spa, function halls, and definitely their enormous swimming pools - recognized to be one of the highest bodies of water in the metropolis.

And sure enough, I was truly impressed by its modern architecture!

Here’s a fundamental description of the area. The entire roof deck was humongous, rectangular in shape, and was partially open to the sky. And on each of its longer sides was an elongated pool, almost comparable to an Olympic-sized marvel. Installed at the outer edges of the building were clear tempered glass panels that offered unparalleled bird’s eye vistas of the urban center while swimming. Additional guard rails were also added to ensure the safety of hotel guests who loved to hangout at the pool’s edges.

The middle section had a roofed structure and housed the pool bars, high tables, stools, and seating furniture where you could unwind, relax, and enjoy cool beverages while listening to the hotel’s piped-in music - away from the scorching rays of the sun. You wouldn't want to burn your skin to a crisp, would you?

With their sexy and curvaceous designs, the shaded lounge chairs were fascinating works of art, all waterproof, and perfect for the wet environment. I spent a lot of time chilling out in these adorable chairs due to the soothing comfort they've provided. In fact, I almost dozed off as a result of the tiresome multi-lap swim I had earlier.

Moreover, yellow round lifesavers were also provided and hung on the supporting columns at reachable distances in case of unforeseen emergencies. Human life guards were also on standby to monitor the activities and implement safety measures. Shower and toilet facilities were readily available at the far end, complementing the guest experience. Without a doubt, the hotel management clearly did an excellent job while I was there!

On the other hand, if you'd desire to have a nice tan, there are likewise alternative lounge chairs located at the edges of the building without roofs where one could also be blown away by the spectacular city views.

I definitely had no regrets during my unforgettable stay. And although I could just be merely satisfied with my assigned guestroom, this special swimming pool at their topmost level made a huge difference in my overall hotel experience - sprinkling a touch of adventure to my never-ending quest for excitement.

I can't wait to come back!
